The recent death of Ray Bradbury has left me very saddened as it brings to the end a 38-year friendship.Back in 201), Decidedly Disney carried a blog post in celebration of Ray's 90th birthday, in which I focused particularly on Ray and his Disney connections.

Bradbury and Disney seem to have been very similar in their outlooks on life and the world. I think I would call them "nostalgic futurists," one foot on the moon and one foot on Main Street. It's an interesting combination of attitudes and interests, but one that we could use more of, in my opinion. I did not know Bradbury personally as you did, but I feel the loss of him tremendously.
